System for photometric measurement of highlights

The system we propose is a system that allows automatic measurements on all types of lanterns. The computer-controlled system allows

Measurement data collection and processing
Control and management of rotary table movement on two axes

The above drawing represents a rough indication of the instrument.

It does not bind the supplier and may be subject to further modifications.

INSTRUMENT DESCRIPTION

Motorised photogoniometer

  • black aluminium rotary table rotation in azimuth +/- 180°
  • accuracy: concentricity 0.0015 mm.
  • minimum taxable angular pitch in remote 0.01°
  • mechanical repeatability 0.006°
  • oscillating movement guaranteeing an elevation of at least +/- 30°
  • axis control: (rotation – tilting) n. 2 stepper motors
  • max. height centre of rotation-base basculation: 250 mm.
  • movement speed: 0.55°/sec.
  • weight supported by the goniometer: 10 kg. (the indicated weight must also take into account the light carrier lift)
  • laser pointer for alignment of the centre of the measuring area
  • metal bench for instrument support
  • dimensions (cm 70x70x45h), with floor fixing plates.
  • aluminium elevator. Elevation mechanism on “z” axis with knobs for position adjustment.

Notebook with Windows operating system

Photometric measurement management software

Software for automatic remote management of goniometer movement and rear light spectrometer acquisition with possibility of initial programmed setting of measurement angles. Possibility of choosing three different types of measurement

  • single measurement;
  • multiple measurement in fixed steps;
  • multiple measurement with variable steps (in this case, it is possible to save the sequence of angles so that this configuration can be loaded later)

Software for displaying and archiving tables of measurements taken (text format)

Light measurement detector

The system will use a SVRG 36-83 spectrophotometer placed at a distance of 5 metres from the light being measured
